Incidents
16 July 2026 — elevated 503s on ingest
Resolved. Duration 17 minutes, from 19:42 to 19:59 UTC.
More people started indexing in the first hour than we had sized the write path for. Ingest returned 503 capacity while search and query kept serving. We raised the connection ceiling and the backlog drained without data loss; runs that failed mid-stream had to be restarted from the last acknowledged batch.
No incidents since.
Planned work
None scheduled. Maintenance that requires dropping connections will be announced here and in the changelog at least 48 hours ahead. Beta being beta, we may have to act faster than that — if we do, it will be written up here afterwards.
